Warren Township Fire
Company 4 - 1948 International KB-8/Oren - 500gpm/500gal
This incredibly restored engine served Muir, PA in the southern Poconos from
1948-1994 as a frontline engine.
It was purchased by an Indianapolis resident in 1999 with the intention of chopping
off the back and making it into
a flatbed car carrier! Luckily, local volunteers helped Warren Township purchase the unit.
Over the course of three years,
Engineer Michael Fontaine of Station 42 and Engineer Gary Powell of Station
43 spent over 2,000 man hours
restoring this engine to its amazing current condition. |
