| Hovercraft 7 - 2007 This unique craft arrived at IFD in late 2007. This vehicle provides a fast response to ice and water rescues throughout Marion County. It is intended for light rescue retrieval work and delivery of flotation devices and safety ropes to victims. A single bench seat runs through the middle much like a waverunner with motorcycle-like handlebars providing the controls. The Hovercraft is typically brought to the scene behind Squad 7 as part of the Water Rescue Team. |
