Indianapolis Fire Department - Station 8 - East 56th Street - Millersville Station 8 protects the northeast side of Indianapolis along Binford Boulevard (IN-37). Shown here with it's former rig in 2004, this station has recently been surrounded by new commercial construction and has lost most of it's natural setting.


Engine 8 - 2006 E-One Typhoon Rescue Pumper - 1500gpm/750gal/30gal foam Engine 8 is one of only two E-One Pumpers (along with E-64) in the IFD Fleet.

Former Washington Township Engine 225 - 2006 E-One Typhoon Rescue Pumper - 1500gpm/750gal/30gal foam This rig was spec'd by the WTFD with a larger and taller 8-man cab and interior ladder compartments.


Safety 2 - Northside Safety Officer - 2009 Ford F-250 4x4 This rig responds as one of three Safety Officers spread across the city. Safety 2 responds from Station 8 and protects the north side of the city including all of Battalion 2 and portions of Battalion 14 and 12.
