Retired Rigs

Lawrence Township was one of several department in central Indiana that utilized a bright yellow paint scheme in the 1980's. This them was discontinued in 2003 with the arrival of Ladder 332. Many of the retired rigs carrying that scheme can be seen below.

This apparatus was moved and renumbered to replace Engine 332 in early 2005. It was sold at auction in October 2006.
 
Squad 331 - 1992 Marion/International/Tactical Rescue
Former Squad 331 - 1992 Marion/International/Walk-around Medium Rescue
Squad 331 responded to medical calls as well as numerous MVA extrications around the Castleton Mall and I-69/I-465
interchange area. This rig was retired in December 2006 and sold to Green Township VFD in Morgan County, IN.

In late 2004, this truck was moved to reserve status and renumbered Engine 335. It was replaced for a short time with
former Engine 331 (above) before a new Pierce Saber arrived in 2006.

A former mini-pumper, Tactical Support Unit 333 served primarily to pull the small boat for water and ice rescue around
Geist Reservoir. It was sold to Advance, Indiana VFD in 2005 and replaced with an old Battalion Chief SUV.

This truck originally served as Ladder 332 from 1989-2003. It then was retrofitted with a larger water tank and ran as
frontline Engine 334 from 2003-2005. It was finally sold by the department in 2005.
