Rural Metro.

With more than 2,000 runs each year, Engine 663 usually ranks as one of the busiest Engine Companies in all of Marion County.

Engine 63 was the third of three Pierce Velocity Pumpers put into service by Perry Township in the fall of 2008. It has a
near twin at Station 62.

Several of the department on the southside of Indianapolis (including Johnson County) utilize Rural/Metro as their ALS/BLS
Transport service. Perry Township has three rigs stationed at 62's, 63's and 64's for dedicated response within their district.

Engine 663 was the first of two apparatus purchased for Station 663 in early 2006. It was later reassigned as Engine 64
in October of 2008 which had a greater need for a pumper with a large capacity tank.

This rig formerly served as Engine 663 was reassigned to reserve status when the new E-One arrived in 2006. Along with
several other apparatus, this rig was sold in 2008 with the arrival of three new Pierce Velocity Pumpers.
