Perry Township's four stations protect a 45 square mile area of southern Marion county. Perry Township's protects approximately 92,000 residents. ALS ambulance service is contracted out to Rural Metro.

This apparatus was originally assigned as Engine 663 on the Township's eastside. Due to it's larger tank capacity, it was
reassigned in October 2008 as Engine 64, which has a mixed residential, industrial and rural district.

Perry Township is one of several departments south of Indianapolis that utilize Rural/Metro as their ALS/BLS
Transport service. PTFD has three rigs stationed at 62's, 63's and 64's for dedicated response within their district.

This apparatus was replaced in the October of 2008 with a Pierce Velocity Pumper.
At that time, it will be reassigned as the department's primary reserve pumper - Engine 665.

This apparatus served a long and busy career as Perry's primary tower ladder.
It was retired to reserve status in 2006 and was sold by the department to Laurens City, South Carolina in May 2008.

Engine 665 along with it's twin Engine 667 and 668 served as the department's Reserve Engines. While in reserve status,
these rigs often floated from station to station. Engine 665 was last kept at Station 664 before being sold in May 2008.
