Crash1
On December 26th, 2008 around 11am, Engine Company 115 and it's four man crew were involved in a serious accident while
responding to a call in Eagle Creek Park. The Engine was responding on the same downhill curved road that their ambulance
had just successfully driven. As they turned a curve, E-115 hit a patch of black ice and slid off the road and into a large tree. Extrication Task Force 14 from Indianapolis was called to help extricate some members of the crew from their mangled cab. The
four firefighters all sustained minor injuries related to the crash and were transported to Methodist Hospital. Thanfully, all four were
treated and released later that day. These pictures reinforce that sometime even the best driving skills cannot help avoid all
accidents. If they had not been wearing seatbelts, the results for this crew might have been far more devastating.

Crash2
The FF in the right rear officer's side of the cab had to be extricated after the rear of the cab was pushed into his compartment
by the impact. These pictures were taken after the rig was towed back to Pike FD Headquarters.
