This incredibly restored engine served Muir, PA in the southern Poconos from 1948-1994 as a frontline engine.
It was purchased by an Indianapolis resident in 1999 with the intention of chopping off the back and making it into
a flatbed car carrier! Luckily, local volunteers helped WTFD purchase the unit. Over the course of three years,
Engineer Michael Fontaine of Station 442 and Engineer Gary Powell of Station 443 spent over 2,000 man hours
restoring this engine to its amazing current condition.

While no longer in frontline service, Fire Company 4's engines and pumps are in full working condition. Accessories include the
original ladders, nozzles and hand-lanterns amongst the many painstaking details of this restoration.
