| Station 81 - 4302 West Bradbury Avenue - Airport Expressway
- Southwest Side Station 81 protects the southern portion of Wayne Township. With it's proximity to I-70, I-74, I-465, numerous industrial/commercial bulidings and the Indianapolis International Airport, 81 is the ideal location for a Hazardous Materials Station. Medic 81 provides ALS/BLS transport from incidents at the airport. In 2008, all Wayne Twp Stations dropped their "8" prefixes. |

- 2000gpm/400/CAFS With the arrival of their new Seagrave, the 81's were changed from a Quint/Aerial Company to an Engine Company in early 2008. This rig was then reassigned as Ladder 82, responding from Station 82. |

| Hazmat 81 - 1994 Spartan Gladiator/RPI Custom Walk-In
Heavy Rescue Hazmat 81 is the first due Hazmat company on the westside of the County. Hazmat 81 carries a wide array of non-sparking tools, air bags, plugging and patching equipment, absorbents, neutralizing materials, decon tent and a rapid deploy decon system,class "D" extinguishing agents, purple "K" foam, miscellaneous level "B" and "C" garments, and biohazard equipment. The Hazmat Support Truck below provides additional equipment and decontamination options for larger incidents. |

| Hazmat 81 - 1994 Spartan Gladiator/RPI Custom Walk-In
Heavy Rescue Firefighters located at Station 81 are trained Hazmat Technicians. They are fully prepared to respond to any Hazardous Materials call. They are most frequently called to petroleum spills along the city's interstates. |

| Support 81 - 1988 Spartan/45' Custom Hessey Trailer Special Operations And Rescue (SOAR) 81 responds to Hazmat incidents all over Wayne Township. It's trailer includes decontamination equipment, materials to contain and cleanup hazardous material spills and 600 gallons of foam for Hazmat Support. The trailer also transports a John Deere Gator that is used to move equipment during incidents. |
