Van Buren Township is located immediately west of IN-37 and south of IN-48 near Bloomington. This combination department's two stations protect a largely rural district including the Monroe County Airport.

Station 9 is home to Engines 91 and 93, Rescue 9 , Squad 9, Brush 92 and Crash Rescue 99.
Station 9 built in 1973 is located at the Monroe County Airport. Additional reserve units are also kept in a secondary garage here.

Rescue 9 is equipped with Amkus rescue tools, air tools and assortment of hand tools to handle all types of extrications.

Squad 9 - 2006 GMC Sierra Crew Cab
Squad 9 serves as a BLSquick-response vehicle with full BLS equipment a few hand tools and 2 SCBA’s.

This truck formerly served as Squad 9 until 2006 when replaced by the larger truck above.

Former Rescue 96 - 1988 Ford/Hoosier Fire 400gpm/300gal/25gal foam
This rig and Engine 93 were both replaced with "Rescue 9" in 2004. It was then acquired by nearby Indian Creek VFD
and is in service at Station 10.
