Green Township is located 30 miles southwest of Indianapolis
in central Morgan County. The Township is located about 6 miles northeast of Martinsville. Green Township's all-volunteer department respond to Fire and Rescue calls.
Green Township Fire Department - Station 15
This station was completed in early 2005 to replace an aging station nearby. The new building has 6 bays on the front and
2 on the back. The bays on very end of the station are drive-through bays. The building also houses offices for the Chief
and Assistant Chief and includes a large meeting room.
Engine 151 - 1992 GMC TopKick/Darley Pumper - 1250gpm/1250 gal tank
Engine 151 is 1st out engine and it also carries the departments extrication equipment
Engine 152 - 1999 GMC TopKick/Darley Pumper - 1250gpm/1250 gal tank
E-152 is the second-out engine and includes a CAFS system with a 30 gal foam tank. This is the only engine in Morgan
County with a Compressed Air Foam System.
Brush 156 - 1993 Chevy 3500 4x4/2001 UPF 250gpm/300gal skid unit
156 is the primary response vehicle for all brush & field fires and carries a wide variety of hand tools and power equipment..
Squad 157 - 1999 Ford F-350/Stahl Light Rescue
Squad 157 is second unit out with Engine 151 on calls of auto accidents & is the departments primary unit for a EMS calls
in the township. With it's 150gpm/200gal Bean High-Pressure skid unit, this unit alsoserves as a backup Brush Truck
Tanker 158 - 1986 Ford 8000/Amthors - 750gpm/2000gal tank
Tanker 158's wording reflects the "Fighting 15" for their station designation within Morgan County.
