Indiana Fire Trucks: Madison Township Fire Department

	Madison Township Fire Department Madison Township is located 25 miles southwest of Indianapolis in Morgan County. Madison's two stations (Landersdale and Five Points) protect a mostly rural and farming district along IN-144. This combination department includes 27 full-time members who provide Fire, Rescue and ALS protection to nearly 38 square miles.


Engine 31 - 1993 International/Pierce - 1250gpm/1000gal Engine 31 is the first due Engine from the Five Points Station. Station 31 is staffed full-time by 4 Firefighters.


Brush 31 - 2003 Ford F-350 4x4 - 100gpm/150gal


Tanker 31 - 1984 Hendrickson/1985 3-D Pumper/Tanker - 1500gpm/2400gal/100gal foam This big rig previously served as Tanker 4 "Big Ben" at Wayne Township in Indianapolis.


Squad 31 - 1986 Ford/Indiana Fire - Walk-around Light Rescue Squad 31 serves as the tactical support vehicle for fire and accident scenes. It includes various scene lighting, a cascade system for on-scene tank refills and additional rescue equipment. Squad 31 responds from Station 31 in Five Points.


BLS Ambulance 31 - 1998 Ford E-450/Wheeled Coach


Station 32 - Landersdale Road/1300 North Station 32 was completed in 2000 on the north side of the Township, just south of the Heartland Crossing area. It is home to MTFD Headquarters as well as Engine, Medic and Tanker 32. The station is shown with Engine 31 visiting for training.


Engine 32 - 1996 Spartan/Ferrara - 1250gpm/1000gal Engine 32 responds from the Landersdale station and is their first-due pumper


Tanker 32 - 1996 International/McGinley - 1250gpm/1800gal


Medic 32 - 2006 Ford E-450/Horton This rig runs as the department's ALS Ambulance. A second ambulance at Station 31 provides additional BLS transport.


Car 302 - Jeep Cherokee - Support Vehicle This truck formerly served as the Assistant Chief Vehicle until 2006. It is currently used for support and Fire Marshall needs.
