Madison Township Fire Department

Madison Township is located 25 miles southwest of Indianapolis in Morgan County. Madison's two stations (Landersdale and Five Points) protect a mostly rural and farming district along IN-144. This combination department includes 27 full-time members who provide Fire, Rescue and ALS protection to nearly 38 square miles.

Squad 31 serves as the tactical support vehicle for fire and accident scenes. It includes various scene lighting, a
cascade system for on-scene tank refills and additional rescue equipment. Squad 31 responds from Station 31 in Five Points.

Station 32 was completed in 2000 on the north side of the Township, just south of the Heartland Crossing area. It is home to
MTFD Headquarters as well as Engine, Medic and Tanker 32. The station is shown with Engine 31 visiting for training.
