The Town of Monrovia is located 25 miles west of Indianapolis along IN-39 in northwest Morgan County. Organized in 1954, the 16 members of this all-volunteer department respond to 300 runs each year. MTD provides Fire, Rescue and BLS non-transport protection to 25 square miles and 5,500 residents.

MTFD Patch
Station

Monroe Township Fire Station - State Road 39 - Monrovia
This well-designed firehouse was completed in 2007 on IN-39 just north of town. If the current fleet appears to have two of
everything, there's good reason. This large station replaced two older and smaller stations (one in Monrovia and one in the
northeastern part of Monroe Township). It now serves as the home to all six of MTFD's frontline apparatus.
