Station
Owen Valley Fire Station - a built in 2000 on Walnut Street at S. Short Street
The Owen Valley FD was formed in 1971 to provide fire protection to Washington Township. In 2005 the town of Spencer
decided not to renew their contract with the Spencer FD and instead signed a contract with Owen Valley FD to protect the Town
of Spencer. This effectively put the Spencer FD out of business. Apparatus from the two departments were combined to
protect the entire district.
