Porter Township The Town of Lake Eliza is located 58 miles southeast of Chicago along County Roads W. 100 South and S. 500 West in west central Porter County. In 2004 Boone Grove VFD & Lake Eliza VFD were merged together to create Porter Township Fire Department. PTFD provides Fire, Rescue & BLS Non-transport protection to 8000 residents living in an a mostly rural area of 42 square miles. |
