The Town of South Haven is located in western Porter County along CR 700. This combination department includes 50 members including 2 full-time personnel each shift to run their ALS Ambulance service. Responding from a single station, SHFD provides Fire, Rescue and ALS/BLS protection to nearly 20 square miles and 6,500 residents. |

| Engine 2711 - 2000 Pierce Dash Pumper - 1250gpm/1000gal/10A/10B Engine 11 is generally the first out for all non-medical incidents at SHFD. In addition to firefighting tools, it includes a full set of Hurst Extrication Tools. |

| Squad 2751 - 2008 Ford F-450/Reading/Darley 250gpm/300gal Skid Unit Squad 51 serves multiple functions for the department. It is the first-out for brush fires, it is sometimes used as an EMS chase vehicle and can respond to accidents in heavy winter weather with it's four-wheel drive and combi-tool extrication set. |
