Wadesville is located 15 miles west-northwest of Evansville along IN-66 in Posey County. Established in 1962, this all-volunteer department includes 27 members who respond from a single station. WVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to the Town of Wadesville, Center Township and the northern half of Robinson Township.

Completed in 1990, this firehouse is home to all four WVFD frontline apparatus.
