LVFD is an all-volunteer department that included 24 members who respond to 235 runs each year. Lynn Fire Station 100
Engine 11 - 1992 International/KME Pumper - 1000gpm/1000gal
The response order of Lynn's two engines depends on the month. On odd months Engine 11 is first due and on even months Engine 12 is first due. This is becoming a common pratice for departments trying to extend the working life of
their fleets. If a mutual aid call comes in, then the out-of-service engine is sent.
Tanker 13 - 1972 Ford/Howe Pumper/Tanker - 750gpm/2200gal
This rig previously served the department as a frontline pumper before being converted to tanker use. TK-13 is first-out on car fires and second-out on all fire runs.
Truck 14 - 2007 Ford F-350 4x4 - HP/250gal skid unit
This apparatus serves a dual roles fighting brush fires and carrying Amkus rescue tools for extrication calls. UT-14 is first-due on grass/trash fires and responds to all calls except medical calls. However, it also serves as a second-out truck if we have a second medical while on another call.
