Union City
Fire Department - Ohio

Union City is located in east central Indiana along the Indiana/Ohio State border in eastern Randolph County. This unique municipality splits this state line. Originally, the two departments combined to provide Fire, Rescue and EMS throughout the city and to Wayne and Jackson Townships. Therefore, Union City became the first department from another state represented on Indiana Fire Trucks. In 2007, the departments formally separated their protection areas along the state line.
