Rushville Fire Department

The City of Rushville is located 40 miles southeast of Indianapolis at the crossroads of US-52, IN-3 and IN-44 in central Rush County. This full-time department includes 16 members who provide Fire, Rescue and BLS protection to 6,000 residents within the city limits.

Engine 2 is the first-due truck for all EMS and Rescue calls. It carries a full set of extrication equipment.

Engine 1 serves as Rushville's Reserve apparatus. Due to its larger tank size, it also responds on mutual aid calls for fires in the county.
