Scottsburg Fire Department

Scottsburg is located 32 miles north of Louisville
along I-65 and IN-56 in Scott County. Scottsburgs
two stations protect the small town of 6,500 residents
as well as portions of US-31 and I-65. Scottsburg is
a combination department established back in 1910
as the first municipal department in the county.

Engine 1 responds to all Rescue runs and extrications. It also includes equipment for fire and medical runs.

This apparatus was a former American LaFrance demo unit and was purchased in 2004 by Scottsburg.
It serves as the department's brush truck and light/specialty rescue unit. Rescue 51 is also the first due on all medical runs.

Engine 3 serves as the department's reserve engine.

This truck serves as the Deputy Chief's response vehicle. A similar 2003 truck serves as the Chief's Command Vehicle.
