Fountaintown Community Volunteer
Fire Department
Fountaintown is located 30 miles southwest of Indianapolis along US-52 in northeast Shelby County. Established in 1957, this all-volunteer department includes 23 members who respond to 365 runs each year. FCVFD provides Fire and Rescue
protection to approximately 8,000 residents and 55 square miles in Fountaintown, Van Buren Township and Brandywine Township in Hancock County. |

Fountaintown Fire Station 12 - 141 E. Brookville Road (US-52)
This firehouse was dedicated on April 20, 1975 after a tornado destroyed their former station on April 3, 1974. This building
is currently home to all 6 frontline apparatus as well as a kitchen, offices and a meeting room. |
