Grandview
Volunteer Fire Department

The Town of Grandview is located along IN-66 and the Ohio River, 35 miles east of Evansville in southern Spencer County. Organized in 1947, the 13 members of this all-volunteer department respond to approximately 40 runs each year. GVFD provides Fire protection to 2300 residents and 42 square miles.

Station

Grandview Fire Station 3 - Forest & 2nd Street
Built in 1995, this firehouse is home to all five of Grandview's apparatus.

This apparatus was purchased from Worthington, IN in 2002. Engine 1 is the first-due truck for most incidents at Grandview.

This rig previously served Chrisney, IN before arring at Grandview in 2003.

This apparatus was purchased in 1999 from nearby Owensboro, KY. It first served as an engine, but is now Grandview's
primary tanker truck.
