First organized on June 1st, 1980, Starke County EMS provides BLS transport protection to the 23,566 residents of this mostly rural county. SCEMS currently operates out of three bases located in North Judson, Knox & Grovertown with one full-time crew at each base.
Knox Base - South Main Street & Culver Road
The Knox Base serves as headquaters for SCEMS and protects central Starke County. It houses Medic 3 & Medic 4.

The Grovertown Base protects the north side of Starke County and is home to Medic 5.
