Volunteer Fire Department

The Town of Ashley is located 30 miles North of Fort Wayne along I-69 and the Steuben/Dekalb county line . Ashley is best known as the "Home of the Smiley Face" due to it's bright yellow water tower located near I-69. This all-volunteer department provides, Fire, Rescue and First-Responder medical and Hazmat protection to 3,500 residents in a mixed residential and industrial district.

E-12 is first-due for most incidents at Ashley. In addition to various firefighting equipment it carries a set of Extrication tools.
