Steuben Township
Volunteer Fire Department

The Town of Pleasant Lake is located 5 miles south of Angola in Steuben County. Steuben Township is an all-volunteer department that responds to 150 runs each year from their single station. STFD provides, Fire, Rescue and First-Responder medical and Hazmat protection to 14 square miles and 3,000 year-round residents. The population expands to more than 7000 during the summer months due to the amount of lakes in their response area.
