The City
of Sullivan is located 26 miles south of Terre Haute just east
of US-41 in central Sullivan County. This combination department includes full-time
ALS protection from it's main station. Sullivan provides Fire, Rescue and ALS
protection to approximately 5,500 residents and 16 square miles in Sullivan and
Hamilton Township.
Sullivan Fire Station
1 - Headquarters
Located in downtown Sullivan, Station 1 moved to this former Supermarket in 1985.
It is now home to Engine 1, Ladder 1, Rescue 1 and Squad 1

Engine 1 is the first due for Fire & Rescue calls in downtown Sullivan.
Rescue 1 - 1999 Ford

Rescue 1 was refurbished locally to add it's new chassis, cab and diamond-plated
storage compartments
on top of an old E-One mini-pumper body.
ALS Squad 1 - 1992 Ford/Wheeled
Coach Type I 4x4 ambulance.
Purchased by SFD in 2001, this rig responds to all EMS calls.

surrounding the City of Sullivan.

Type II Ambulance
This rig was originally purchased by SFD in 1998 as the deparment's first ambulance.
Now located at Station 2, it serves as a second-out ambulance and reserve unit.
