Tippecanoe Township
Volunteer Fire Department


The town of Battle Ground is located along I-65 and IN-43 in northeastern Tippecanoe County. Established in 1971, TTVFD responds to more than 450 runs each year from their single station. WTFD provides Fire, Rescue and BLS protection to 6,600 residents including Tippecanoe Township, the Town of Battle Ground and portions of I-65. In 2009, TTVFD became part of the Northeast Tippecanoe Fire Territory Sheffield, Perry and Washington Townships.

Built in 1970, this firehouse is home to seven frontline apparatus and the department's administration offices.
