Scott Township Fire Department
Station 1: Headquarters

Scott Township is located 10 miles northeast of Evansville across the northern edge of Vanderburgh County. STFD is a combination department with 7 full-time, 7-part-time and 33 volunteer members responding from three stations. Established in 1955, STFD provides Fire, Rescue and ALS Transport protection in the areas of Scott Township, the Town of Darmstadt, and Armstrong Township.

Station 4-1
Station 1 - 1540 E. Baseline Road and Old US-41
Dedicated in 1999, this station serves as STFD Headquarters. It is home to Engine, Medic, Brush and Ladder 1, Medic 2 and
the Operations Officer's Utility Vehicle. This station is staffed by two full-time FF personnel who man the ALS Ambulance.

This rig is staffed full-time by a combination of FF/EMT and FF/Medics. In addition to it's medical equipment, the truck
carries a combi-tool, shovels, brooms and other equipment for response to vehicle accidents. Heavier extrication tools are
carried on Engines 2 & 3.

Medic 2 is the second-due ambulance and also responds from Station 1.

This vehicle is used by the Assistant Chief or Operations Officer and is also used as the department's Utility vehicle.
