Scott Township Fire Department
Stations 2 - 3

Scott Township is located 10 miles northeast of Evansville across the northern edge of Vanderburgh County. STFD is a combination department with 7 full-time, 7-part-time and 33 volunteer members responding from three stations. Established in 1955, STFD provides Fire, Rescue and ALS Transport protection in the areas of Scott Township, the Town of Darmstadt, and Armstrong Township.

Station 2 - Daylight

This single-engine house shares quarters with the Township Trustee's Offices (in the back). It is now home only to 4 Engine 2.
The original building was constructed in 1973 with and addition in 1985.

Engine 2 was one of two identical pumpers ordered by the department from Precision Fire Apparatus.

Station 3 is an all-volunteer station located in the Town of Darmstadt in the western portion of STFD's area. The original
firehouse was completed in 1969. The 3's is now home to Engine, Rescue, and Brush 3 as well as the Hazmat Decon Trailer
and a Mass Casualty Response trailer.

In addition to a full compliment of firefighting tools, this apparatus is also equipped with a full set of extrication tools.

This apparatus originally had a 500gpm/300gal setup behind the cab. However, the pump and tank were removed by the department in 2004 and a 4 bottle cascade system was installed in it's place. All In 2008 Precision rechassised the truck, repainted the body, and added a light tower.

As mentioned above, this former pumper had it's pumps and tank removed around 2004 and was converted to a full-time rescue truck.

This rig formerly served as Brush 1 and brush 3. However, it's skid unit was removed and it now fulfills utility duty and
can pull either of the departments two trailers located at this station.
