The Town of Newburgh is located along the Ohio River in southwestern Warrick County. NVFD is an all-volunteer department with 40 members responding from a single station. NVFD provides Fire, Rescue, Dive Rescue and Medical First Responder protection to approximately 27,000 residents and 25 square miles in the Town of Newburgh and portions of Ohio Township.

Engine 11 ds
Engine 11 - 1993 Simon-Duplex Pumper - 1250gpm/1000gal
E-11 is the first out engine on all structure fires and grass/brush fires.
 
Engine 19 ds
Engine 19 - Ford C8000/E-One Pumper - 1000gpm/1000gal
E-19 is the second-out engine on grass/brush fires. It also serves as a reserve Engine when all other equipment is deployed.
 
Squad 15 ds
Battalion 10 (former Squad 15) - 1994 Chevrolet Suburban 3500 4x4
This rig was replaced by a larger Light Rescue truck for Medical First Reponse. Battalion 10 now circulates among the
officers, allowing many different people to gain experience and serve as Command for NFD.

Located on the Ohio River, Newburgh is one of the few departments in he area with a trained dive team.
 
Newburgh also has several new apparatus not yet pictured:
Squad 15 - Ford F-350 Light Rescue - first due for medical and second due for extrication
Engine 17 - 2005 E-One Typhoon Rescue Pumper - 1500gpm/1000gal - first due for most incidents
Truck 12 - Simon-Duplex 75ft rear-mount Aerial Ladder - first due
