Ohio Township is located immediately east of Evansville in western Warrick County. The Ohio Township VFD responds from two stations, Epworth and Paradise. Their quickly growing area includes commercial, suburban and rural areas within Ohio Township.

Station 62 is located immediately east of I-265 and the Deaconness Women's Hospital Campus on the border of
Warrick and Vanderburgh Counties. The Eppworth Station is home to Engine 63 (not pictured), Rescue 64, and Squad 68.

Engine 62 and Rescue 64 were built as fraternal twins for the department. While they look very similar, E-62 is setup for fire
runs with drafting capabilities, extra hose and firefighting tools. Rescue 64 is setup as both a second-in pumper and the primary
rescue apparatus for extrications and other rescue calls.

R-64 includes several rescue-oriented features including front brow scene lighting and bumper-mounted reels and rescue
tools. Located adjacent to I-164 and the busy IN-62 highway, accidents with extrications occur with some frequency.

This rig previously ran as the medical first-response vehicle from the Paradise station. It has now been converted to utility use
to pull various department rescue trailers and transport additional personnel to incidents.

Ohio Township is lucky to have a vehicle like this one to assist with field fires and off-road patient access. Brush 66's equipment
includes a winch and a 300 gallon water tank and pump mounted in the bed. It also has a 25 foot hose and a bumper mounted
sprinkler system that can be controled from the drivers seat
