Yankeetown Yankeetown is located along the Ohio River in southeastern Warrick County. Organized in 1961, the YVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First Responder protection to approximately 1,500 residents and 20 square miles from a central station. Their district includes response to the nearby Alcoa dedicated Power Plant as well as a second power plant. This allows them to have one of the most modern and well-equipped departments in the area. |

Yankeetown Fire Station Station 1 - 2600 Old State Road 66 - Newburgh, Indiana This building serves as Fire Department Headquarters and includes the Chief's office and meeting rooms. It is home to Engine 33, Brush 30, Brush 32 and Brush 35. Due to space restrictions, this station could not be added on to. Therefore, the additional apparatus sit diagonally across the street in a building known as The Annex (pictured at the top of this page. |
