Bluffton Fire Department Bluffton is located 24 miles south of Fort Wayne in central Wells County. Founded in 1880, BFD is now a combination department that provides Fire and Rescue protection to approximately 9,500 residents of the City of Bluffton and portions of the surrounding county. |

1991 International/Mobile Medical - Walk-in Equipment Truck Rescue 1 can respond throughout Wells County and provides mutual aid to surrounding counties when needed. This truck is equipped with a cascade system, thermal image viewer, rope rescue equipment, stokes basket, extrication equipment, ventilation tools and fire suppression support equipment . |
